Copyright Policy

KaraoClip respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask everyone who uses KaraoClip to do the same. This page explains what you may not upload, how to report content that infringes your rights, and what happens after a report.

This Copyright Policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Content you may not upload

You may only upload content that you own or have permission to use.

Do not upload or add to a greeting any content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights — including music, lyrics, images, video, or recordings of other people used without their permission.

2. How to report copyright infringement

If you believe content on KaraoClip uses your copyrighted work without permission, email us at support@karaoclip.com with the subject line “Copyright Report”.

So we can act quickly, please include:

• a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• a link to, or a clear description of, the content on KaraoClip you are reporting
• your name and contact details
• a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use of the content is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law
• a statement that the information in your report is accurate
• your physical or electronic signature

3. What happens after a report

When we receive a valid report, we review it and may remove or disable access to the content in question. Where possible, we let the person who uploaded the content know that it was removed and how they can respond.

4. If your content was removed by mistake — counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to support@karaoclip.com with the subject line “Copyright Counter-Notice”.

Please include:

• a description of the content that was removed and where it appeared on KaraoClip
• a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification
• your name, contact details, and physical or electronic signature

After a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the person who made the original report takes further legal action.

5. Repeat infringers

KaraoClip may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly upload content that infringes the rights of others.

6. Your responsibility for music, images, and people

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to everything in the content you upload — including:

• any music or lyrics you add yourself
• images and video you upload
• recordings of other people who appear in your content

Music that KaraoClip provides for use within the platform is covered by our Terms of Service. Any music or other content you bring yourself is your responsibility.

7. Please report responsibly

Submitting a copyright report or counter-notice that you know to be false may have legal consequences. Please only report content that you genuinely believe infringes your rights.

8. How this policy is applied

KaraoClip reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether content or conduct violates this Copyright Policy.

This Copyright Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and is governed by the laws of England and Wales, as set out in those Terms.
