Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using KaraoClip (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About the Service

KaraoClip helps organizers create collaborative video greetings. An organizer invites participants, each participant records a short video independently via a unique link, and the Service compiles the recordings into a single video that is revealed to the recipient. KaraoClip is currently in beta; features may change without notice.

3. Accounts

Organizers create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. Notify us at hello@karaoclip.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Participant consent

Organizers are responsible for obtaining consent from participants before sending recording invitations. Participants who submit a recording agree that it may be included in the compiled video delivered to the recipient. If a participant changes their mind, they can ask us to remove their recording at hello@karaoclip.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages through the Service.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to abuse the Service or its users.
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service beyond your own content.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Content ownership

Participants retain all rights to their recordings. By submitting a recording, participants grant KaraoClip a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, compile, and deliver the recording as part of the compiled video to the recipient. This license exists solely to operate the Service.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available” during beta. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KaraoClip and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of content or data. Please keep copies of anything important to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect the Service, its users, or third parties. Upon termination, we may delete your data.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tel Aviv.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
